Questions about delivery estimates
How is the delivery date worked out?
From your rules: how many working days you take to pack an order, your daily order cut-off, the days you ship, your holidays, and how many days the carrier takes. Orders after the cut-off count from the next working day, Sundays never count as delivery days, and Saturdays only if you turn them on. Everything is calculated in your timezone.
Where does the shipping cost come from?
From your own Wix shipping rules. On the Pro plan the app asks Wix what checkout would charge for that product to the shopper's country (or postcode, if you turn that on) and shows the cheapest option. If you don't ship to a country, no cost is shown. Store pickup is never shown as free shipping.
How does it know where the shopper is?
From the time zone of the shopper's browser, mapped to a country. Nothing is looked up or stored on our side. Shoppers can change the country (and enter a postcode on Pro), and their choice is remembered on their own device.
Can I set different delivery times for different countries?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Create rules such as "1 to 3 days" for your own country and "6 to 9 days" for Europe; countries you don't list use your default delivery days.
Does it work with my Wix theme?
The estimate is a Wix site plugin you add to the product page once, right under the Buy Now button. It uses your site's font and text colour, and you choose the accent colour. It works on Wix Stores sites built in the Wix Editor and Wix Studio.
What does the free plan include?
The delivery date on every product page, with your processing time, cut-off, working days and holidays, the order countdown and all wording and colour settings. Pro adds the real shipping cost, delivery days per country and the postcode check for one flat price with no per-order fees.
