Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Zutomatic Shopify application ("the App", "we", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By installing the App on your Shopify store, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
Zutomatic is a Shopify application that uses artificial intelligence to automatically generate product content — including highlights, specifications, FAQs, and shipping/returns information — and displays it on your storefront via a theme extension.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
The App uses third-party AI models (including but not limited to Groq and OpenAI) to generate product content. You acknowledge that:
The App offers multiple subscription plans (Free, Starter, Growth). Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's built-in billing system. By selecting a paid plan, you authorize Shopify to charge the applicable fees to your Shopify account.
Each plan includes specific limits on the number of products and AI generations per month. Exceeding your plan's limits will require upgrading to a higher tier. Unused generations do not carry over between billing cycles.
The App, its code, design, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of the developer. The AI-generated content produced for your products is owned by you once generated and published. We retain no ownership rights over the content created for your store.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process your store data as described in that policy.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the App or other users.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where the developer is located.
